Terms of Service

RankMates is an online service that connects players based on their playstyle, level, region and preferences, to help them find teammates. The service is operated by SemanticLab.

You must create an account to use RankMates. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity carried out from your account. RankMates is reserved for players aged 14 and over: you confirm that you are at least 14 years old. You must also meet any higher minimum age required in your country; below the digital age of consent, a parent's agreement is required. We never match a minor (under 18) with an adult.

You agree not to: harass, threaten or intimidate other players; post hateful, sexually explicit, illegal or misleading content; impersonate others; spam or attempt to bypass the service's protections; cheat or game the matching system.

You can report any player from their card. Breaching these rules may lead to suspension or permanent ban of your account, at our sole discretion.

You retain ownership of the content you post (pseudo, bio, answers, messages). You grant us a limited license, necessary to operate the service (display your profile, match you, route your messages). You warrant that you hold the rights to what you post.

We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service and its features at any time.

RankMates is a matching service: we are not responsible for the behavior of other players or the quality of the relationships formed. The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from use of the service.

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate your access in case of a breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and failing amicable resolution, the French courts have jurisdiction. In case of discrepancy between language versions, the French version prevails.
